Tumaini Fund Canada is trying to raise $4,000 to help a 13-year-old in Tanzania, who is suffering from arthrogryosis, congenital malformations of the face, hands and feet. The hope is to send the boy back to Dar es Salaam for another hospital visit and to get a visa; however, the wait continues. Then we have to wait to know if Smile Train will fund the facial reconstruction surgery. All being well, and the lad goes to Geneva for 6 months of operations, we will need to raise additional funds for his clothes, toiletries, and educational materials.
